KYC (Know Your Customer) là quy trình verify identity — bạn cần biết khách hàng là ai. AML (Anti-Money Laundering) là broader framework ngăn chặn rửa tiền — bao gồm transaction monitoring, suspicious activity reporting, record keeping. KYC là 1 phần của AML program.

Source of Funds (SoF): tiền đến từ đâu cho transaction cụ thể (lương, business income, savings). Source of Wealth (SoW): tổng tài sản tích lũy như thế nào (inheritance, investments, career earnings). High-value players cần cả SoF và SoW verification.

PEP = Politically Exposed Persons — người có vị trí chính trị quan trọng hoặc thân nhân. PEP có higher risk vì có thể dùng position để rửa tiền. Bạn cần screen PEP database trước khi allow high-value transactions. Enhanced due diligence required cho PEP accounts.

Philippines (PAGCOR) là dễ nhất với licensing framework rõ ràng — chỉ cần capital requirement và compliance với AMLA 2001. Thái Lan đang consider legalization, có thể open 2025-2026. Indonesia prohibited — high risk. Singapore chỉ cho exempt operators (Singapore Pools). Việt Nam grey market — không licensing nhưng cũng không actively prosecuted.

Industry standard: CTR (Currency Transaction Report) cho transactions >$10,000. STR (Suspicious Transaction Report) không có threshold — flag bất cứ transaction nào suspicious bất kể amount. Velocity checks: flag nếu user deposit >3 lần/ngày hoặc withdraw >80% deposit trong 24h.

Minimum: deposit limits, self-exclusion, reality check (session time alerts). Recommended: loss limits, cooling-off periods, problem gambling resources links. PAGCOR và Singapore RGA đều require responsible gambling program. Tốt nhất implement tất cả cho responsible gambling certification.
